He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Farrar and Mella V. Burden Gilliland; and his brother Thomas Earl Gilliland. He is survived by: his wife Justina Gilliland of Clinton; his children, Tracy Vermillion (Scotty) of Missouri and Danny Gilliland, Sr. (Shelly) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Sommer Houser, Hanna Gilliland, Megan Gilliland, Danny Gilliland, Jr., Josh Gilliland, Carrie Vermillion, Amber Vermillion and Kobe Vermillion; his great grandchildren, Dominic Vermillion and Jaxx Ayers; and his siblings, Justus Wesley Embry, Larry Gilliland, Herbert Gilliland, Fred Gilliland and Martha Jean Green.
