He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kelly and Ione Kelly of Oakton, KY; his former wife Vera Ann Walker Kelly; his daughter Tammy Ann Buchanon; his stepson Darrell Smith (Bubba); and his siblings, Arnett, George, Harold Kelly and Dorothy Pickard.
He is survived by: his wife Sherl Kelly; his daughter Kathy Kelly; his stepchildren, Joey Laster (Tracy), Melinda Smith, Bobby Busby (Denise) and Trayce Jackson; his stepdaughter-in-law Sandra Smith; his son-in-law Don Buchanon; his grandchildren, Christopher Kelly (Elizabeth), Leslie Clark (Wade), Julie Canerdy (Brian) and Savannah Pessefall; his stepgrandchildren, Brittney Laster, Matthew Laster, Nicky Liliker (Joey), Michael Milton (Nicole), Zachary Smith, Shane Smith (Morgan) and Garrett Smith; his brother John C. Kelly (Kathy); and his pets, Cowgirl, Susie, Skeeter, Bob and Socks. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and 7 step great grandchildren.
