He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Settle and Ruthelle Bradley Settle; and his sisters, Reby West and Patsy Statton. He is survived by: his wife Jo Nell Winn Settle of Clifty, KY; his son Joe Alan Settle (Jeanette Linn) of Hopkinsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Settle-Weingartner and Katherine Linn Settle.
