She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clayton Groves and Eva Lee Turner Groves; her former husband James Slaughter; and her grandmother Phillips. She is survived by: her son Larry Slaughter (Angela) of Clifty; her stepson Glendle "Bobo" Joines (Lisa) of Lewisburg; her daughter Debbie Jordan (Randy) of Allegre; her stepdaughter Lisa Slaughter (Gary) of Lewisburg; and her sisters, Wanda Groves of Clifty and Maulta Blake of Clifty. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
