He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bobby Brown and Buddy Brown; and his parents, Marshall Brown and Delema Brown. He is survived by: his brother Bruce Brown (Sherry) of Greenville; his son John Paul Carender; and his grandson Charlie Carender. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
