He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Black Charles; his children, Jeff Charles of Clearfield, Mike Charles of Clearfield, Joe Charles of Clearfield, Jerry Charles of Morehead and Donna Burdick of Georgetown; his stepdaughter Amy Meade of Clearfield; and his brother Donald Charles of Montezuma, Indiana. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
