It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Bumgardner of Clearfield, Kentucky, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Thornsberry and Clacy Parker Thornsberry; her former husband Clifton Harold Wallace; her husband Elwood Bumgardner; her sisters, Ruby Wallace and Marie Lewis; and her grandson Clifton Ray Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Marquetta Ann Baber (Joe) of South Charleston and Dwain Allen Wallace (Denise) of Clearfield; her stepson Steve Bumgardner (Noah Stidam) of Morehead; her siblings, Delbert Thornsberry of Monroe, Edgar Thornsberry of Ypsilanti, Donald Thornsberry of Owingsville, Della Miller of West Elkton, Ava Jennings of Florida and Marlene Crose of Morehead; her grandchildren, Kacie Wallace Smith (E. J.), Justin Harold Wallace, Erin Lands (Nathan), Morgan Bowden and Nicholas "Nikko" Bowden; her stepgrandchildren, Joey James, Brandon James, Jim Andy Bumgardner and Holley Jo Nester (Rob); her great grandchildren, William Eric Smith III, Bailey Nicole Smith, Emory Elizabeth Lands and James Roy Bowden; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyla Bumgardner, Kenna Bumgardner, Griffin Bumgardner and Brock Nester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
