He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Ray Smedley and Mary Louise Grimshaw Smedley; and his wife Donna Jean Hatton Smedley. He is survived by: his children, Krista Smedley of Clearfield, Whitley Smedley of South Shore, Ashley Scott (Hagan) of Columbia, Kentucky and C. J. Smedley of Hawaii; his grandchildren, Ayden Smedley, Braxton Scott and Joseph Scott; his siblings, Ronald Smedley (Tamme) of Cincinnati, Steven Smedley (Jackye) of Clearfield, Timothy Smedley of West Liberty, Susan Wilson (Doug) of North Carolina and Brenda Miles (Robert) of Nicholasville; and his close friend Junior Dillon of Clearfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
