She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Charles H. Elliott, Jr.; her parents, James Ruben Thomas and Sybrina Sparks Thomas; her siblings, John Carl Thomas, Emma Lee Smith, Edith Chadwell, Ruby Elam, Claudie Thomas and Mary Jane Kidd; and her daughters, Beverly Sue "Susie" Day Taylor and Pamela Ann Day Dillon.
She is survived by: her son James "Jay" Day (Teresa) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Jaliah Day-Klaiber, Amanda Day-Brown, Jason Jones, Todd Butler, Adam Butler, Andrew Dillon, Carie Faulkner, Stevie Taylor, Hannah Taylor and Aizhan Taylor; and her siblings, Clyde A. Thomas, James E. Thomas, Clayton R. Thomas, Vinda Moore of Morehead, Sue Hardin of Morehead and Bonnie Wood of Morehead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
