He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto McKinney and Lucy Staton McKinney; his wife Dorothy Perry McKinney; and his brother Billy McKinney. He is survived by: his daughter Lora Lynn Tinsley; his grandson Damion Dylan Tinsley of Clearfield; and his sisters, Helen McKinney of Morehead and Ruth Blevins of Indiana. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
