He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Caudill and Annie Conley Caudill Smith; his siblings, Derwood Caudill, Shirley Ray Williams and Juanita Ginter; and his wife Katherine Basford Caudill.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Caudill (Candy Marcum) of Clearfield, Donnie Caudill (Barb) of Olive Hill, Connie Caudill Bowles (Roger) of Clearfield and Elwood Caudill, Jr. (Trina) of Morehead; and his siblings, Bernice Haney of Clearfield, Linda Ballard (Hal) of Mt. Sterling, Faye Harper of Flemingsburg, Susie Law of Morehead and Billy Caudill of Ewing. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other extended family and many friends.
