He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carroll and Edith Bumpus; his children, Tammy and Steven; and his sister Ellen Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Beverly Newman (Jesse) of Madisonville; his brothers, Jim Bumpus (Nancy) of Dixon, Jeff Bumpus of Dixon, Glenn Bumpus (Karla) of Marion, Jerry Bumpus (Molly) of Morganfield, David Bumpus (Cindy) of Slaughters and Jason Bumpus (Kim) of Clay; and his grandchildren, Caden Campbell, Ethan Campbell and Logan Newman.
