It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Mitchell of Clay, Kentucky, born in Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Griffin and Ann Griffin; and her sisters, Patricia Griffin and Cathy Hargis. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Katie Shelton (Derek), Shane Mitchell (Jessica) of Clay and Brad Mitchell (Lindsey) of Clay; her brother Randy Griffin (Lisa) of Providence; and her grandchildren, Madelyn, Ashley, Luke Mitchell, Maddie Paige, Landon Leslie, John Brent Shelton, Lauren Hise (Lucas), Lani, Gracyn, Jenna, Brooke, Lily, Caroline and Jack Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
