It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Francis Gernatt of Clay, Kentucky, born in Gowanda, New York, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gene; his son Terrence E. Gernatt; and his brothers, Alfred, Edward "Curly", Laverne, David and Ronald Gernatt.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda M. Gernatt; his children, Martin W. Gernatt (Celeste) of Oldsmar, Fla., Kyle E. Gernatt (Lydia) of Uniontown, Kale E. Gernatt of Clay and Klint E. Gernatt (Ami) of Morganfield; his grandchildren, Terrence, Brandon, Kyley, Karli, PresLeigh, Kora, Kipley and Kyler; his great grandchildren, Triston, Ellisea, Elliot and Tinsley; his siblings, Richard Gernatt of Perrysburg, Eleanor Hebdon of Schenectady, Isabelle Schmidtt (Dave) of Boston, NY, John Gernatt (Jeanne) of Md, Christine North (Dan) of Gowanda, Cheryl Dash (Doug) of Springville and Deb Gugino (Frank) of Leon; and his sister-in-law Elaine Gernatt of Perrysburg.
