With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Essie Bell Gibson of Clay, Kentucky, born in Crittenden, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Essie left this world on October 20, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Quertermous and Kittie Marie Quertermous; and her husband Donnie. She is survived by: her children, Donna Brown (Robert) of Dixon, Janice Rich of Clay, Gary Gibson (Candy) of Clay, Michael Gibson (Linda) of Sturgis and Jimmy Gibson (Dianna) of Clay; her sister Bessie Gibson of Dixon; and her grandchildren, Heather Gibson, Jeffrey Gibson, Jerry Ray Gibson, Haley Thomas, Michelle Brown, Melody Quillen, Misty Sale, Jayce Gibson, Clayton Brown, Cassie Schneider, Charity Wallace and Terry Wayne Rich II. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Vanover Funeral Home (9000 KY-132, Clay, KY 42404). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
