It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Matthews-Courtesy (Clay, Kentucky), who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brandy Gray and Ivory Gray; and her grandson Robby Mathews, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Mathews; her sons, Robby Mathews, Sr. (Tessa) of East Bernard, Jeff Mathews (Jennifer) of Fort Worth and Kevin Mathews (Theresa) of Kentucky; her siblings, Larry, Oscar, Verdlain, James, Lonzo Gray and Sally Gray Lee; and her grandchildren, Tonya, Trevor, Chad, Randy, Austin, Kortney, Kayla, Kody, Ivory, Noah, Madison, Mackenzie and Morgan. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.
