With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Sue Gupton of Clay, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn left this world on November 11, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lee and Agatha Harris. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gupton; her children, Leisa Williams (Dennis) of Clay, Vincent Darr (Dani) of Powell, WY, Richard Darr (Tina) of Slaughters, Steve Gupton (Joyce) of Cottontown, TN and Marty Gupton of Grand Rapids, MI; and her sister Linda Gibson (Mike) of Sturgis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vanover Funeral Home (9000 KY-132, Clay, KY 42404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn would appreciate donations to any of the following: St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, New Clay Cemetery or Common Garments Ministry envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
