She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosco Newton and Vena Newton; her daughter Gail Rogers; her grandson Brandon Rogers; and her brothers, David Napier, Ronald Creech, Ruben Newton and Ray Creech.
She is survived by: her husband Lemon Brooks of Mt. Sterling; and her children, Lemon Wayne Brooks (Evelyn) of Irvine, Ricky Brooks (Tina) of Mt. Sterling, Theresa Roe (William) of Wellington and Judy Patrick Mt (Rick). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
