She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Rowland and Fannie Hall Rowland; her husband Boyd Dal Childers; and her siblings, Junior Hisle, Ray Rowland, Geatta Reffett, Minnie Gilley, Effie Henry and Maudie Siebokrob.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vikki Childers Meadows (Michael) of Clay City and Sherry Childers Lucas (Larry) of Winchester; her siblings, Verlon Rowland, Barbara Booth and Juanita McCuddy; her grandsons, Mitchell McIntyre (Elisha), Michale Meadows II and William Lucas; and her great grandchildren, Titus McIntyre, Micah McIntyre, Felcia McIntyre and Caleb McIntyre. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to First Presbyterian Church of Stanton, Powell's Valley Baptist Church of Clay City, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
