It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Dewayne Ratliff of Clay City, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Ratliff; his stepfather Estill Powell; and his close friend Alex Shuler. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Jordon Powell; his children, Michael Dewayne Ratliff Jr., Dawson Ratliff (Briana Jones) and Megan Ratliff (Josh King); his siblings, Mitchell Ratliff (Debbie), Alan Scott and Terry Ayers; his grandchildren, Kyndall King, Chandler King, Carleigh King and Wyatt Ratliff; and his pets, Gunner and Gabby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
