He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Hopper and Ethel Townsend Hopper; his former wives, Francis and Frances McCarty Hopper; and his siblings, Henry Cole Hopper, Robert "Bobby" Hopper, Johnny Hopper, Jerry Hopper (Carol) and Faye Hopper Slusher.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Liddell Hopper; his children, Donna Ruth Barnett (Tony) and David Ray Hopper (Melanie); his nephew Andrew Wells; his grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Jessica Garrett (Matt), Dylan Hopper, Kole Hopper and Brielle Hopper; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Noah and Hannah Garrett. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
