He was predeceased by: his parents, Herley Lee and Edith Elouise Bush McKinney; his siblings, Harry Wayne McKinney and Dixie Lee Everman; and his nephew Chris McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya McKinney; his daughters, April Smyth (Justin), Kassi Bicknell (Garet) and Ashley McKinney; his stepson Devin Hall; his siblings, Patsy Wilson, Judy Bush, Anna "Cookie" Weldi (MIchael), Linda Norton, Stanton, Deborah Crabtree, Glenn McKinney (Elizabeth), Sherry Tyree (Vaulty), Irvine and Douglas McKinney (Valene); his grandchildren, Hannah Barnett, Gage Barnett and Trent Thompson; his stepgranddaughter Michaela Hall; and his great grandchild Ivy Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
