He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Knox; his brother Billy Knox; his grandparents, Sid Knox (Essie) and Jessie Adams (Bessie); his aunts and uncles, Ruby Adams, Ann Thomas, Alice Knox, Gladys Tipton, Lona Lowery, Guy Knox, Price Knox, Lemon Knox, Royden Knox, Cecil Knox, George Friend and Weedie Adams; and his cousins, Jennifer Bates-Owsley, Keith Lane, Robbie Byrd and Ray Ray Caskey.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Adams Knox; his daughter Charissa Knox; his sister Patricia Phillippe (Garland); his grandchildren, Isadora Wise, Hana Knox and Chris Knox; his son Chris Knox (Melanie); his nieces, Tiffanie Phillippe and Stephanie Faulkner (Logan); his great-nephew Elliot Phillippe; and his great-niece Whitley Faulkner.
