It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Fugate of Clay City, Kentucky, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Fugate and Edna Fugate (Parks); and his brothers, James, Irvine, Frank and Roy Fugate.
He is survived by: his caregiver Jean Barnett; his sons, Walter Fugate and Gary Fugate; his stepchildren, Ricky Hibbs, Judy Hibbs and Missy Faw; his grandchildren, Travis Fugate, Eldoria Fugate and Farrell Fugate; his stepgrandchildren, Latosha Sexton, Richard Hibbs III and Trevor Faw; and his siblings, Willie Fugate, Wardie Fugate, Vernon Fugate, Donald Fugate, Dora McIntosh, Cassie Banks and Easter Mercer.
