He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Trent Townsend; and his brother Michael Henry Vanover. He is survived by: his father Sam Vanover (Juanita Owens) of Clay City; his sister Lisa Potts of Clay City; his nephews, Derrick Potts and Darren Potts; and his aunt Patty Trent of Clay City.
