He was predeceased by: his parents, Fendrick Spencer and Eva Fraley Spencer; and his brothers, Kermit Spencer, Kenneth Spencer, Charles Spencer and Bradley Spencer.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tamara Matthis (Leo Lester) of Pasco County, FL, Tracy White of Powell County, KY and Tim Bennett of Bath County, KY; and his siblings, Adam Ray Spencer of Campton, KY, Mervin Spencer of Ohio and Kaye Fugate of Middletown, OH. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
