She was predeceased by: her parents, George Barnes and Nancy Jane Hall Barnes; her brother Charlie Franklin; and her stepfather Vernon Goodwin. She is survived by: her children, John Otis Mullins of Monroe, OH, Ronald Meadows of Clay City, Michael Meadows (Vikki) of Clay City, Darryl Meadows (John McDaniel) of Smithville, TN, Ken Meadows (Malay) of Germantown, TN, Sandra McCoy (Randall) of Stanton and Sherry Mitchell (Jason) of Clay City; her siblings, Trigger Garland Barnes (Emma) of Jeffersonville, Matilda Hamilton (Doug) of Carlisle and Zellie Barnes (Dexter) of Jeffersonville; and her grandchildren, Victoria Jasser, Rebekkah Layne, Jimmy Mullins, Lakayla Smith, Susan Meadows, Jessica Rayburn, Michael Meadows, Jr., Ryan Meadows, Jeffery Meadows, Ron Meadows, Jr. and Bryan Meadows. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
