With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ackie Friend of Clay City, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse Adams and Bessie Webster Adams; her daughters, Connie Grigsby (Ray) and Kathy Trent; her sister Dorothy Knox; her grandchildren, Missy Grigsby, Ray Grigsby, Dwayne Grigsby, Tabatha Utterback and Walter G. Trent III; and her great grandchildren, Brian Trent, Brandon Trent, Jacob Utterback, Cody Trent and Dalton Trent.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
