He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward Lee and Martha Elizabeth Pawley Douthitt; and his siblings, Linda Brooks, Doug, Larry and Kennie Douthitt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Simpson (Jim), Pam Williamson (Tony) and Allen D. Douthitt (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (115 W Main St, Clarkson, KY 42726). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Mt Hebron Cemetery.
