He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter Gonser, Robert Gonser, William Alton Gonser and Mary Louise Yoder. He is survived by: his parents, Willis Gonser and Gola Mae Greenawalt Gonser; his wife Thelma Gilbert Gonser; his son Morse Clayton Gonser; and his sister Gloria Ann Gonser of Sturgis. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
