He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Portman and Eunice Molly Harness Portman; and his brother Glenn Portman. He is survived by: his siblings, Lana Fitzgerald (Mike) of Louisville, Mary Mullins of Mt. Washington, Eddie (Linda) of Clarkson, David (Linda) of Louisville, Steve (Pat) of Louisville and Tom (Wanda) of St. Paul. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
