With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie A. Sharp of Clarkson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Morgan and Mae Daugherty Morgan; her husband Meade Carroll Sharp; her son Phillip Wayne Sharp; her siblings, Clifford Dale, Ralph, Marion Otto, Donald, Louie, Bernard Morgan, Juanita Morris, Ina Cain, Erma Lou Bewley and Jane Lucas; her granddaughter Angela Sharp; and her great grandchild Joshua.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Lee Sharp (Audrey) of Owensboro, Vivian Ann Decker (Wilbur) of Clarkson, Raymond Morgan Sharp (Patricia) of Clarkson, Douglas Carroll Sharp (Vonda) of Glendale, Kenneth Alan Sharp (Valerie) of Millerstown, Jo Anna Sharp of Glendale, Elizabeth Carol Thomas (Barry) of Leitchfield, Martha Faye Welch (Dave) of Fishers, IN and Meade C. Sharp (Lu Ann) of Millerstown; her grandchildren, Paula Hightower, Nick Sharp, David, Daniel, Todd, Andy, Jack Decker, Julya Oldham (Cousins), Brandy Jo Sharp, Savannah Epperson, Morgan Roberts, Erin Johnston, Adam Wade, Holly Kruer, Heidi Lovejoy, Hannah Asher, Michael, Jared Sharp, Christian Adam Meade Sharp, James, Rachel, Molly Thomas, Emily and Matthew Welch; her sister Sue Hayden (Wayne) of Rineyville, KY; her siblings-in-law, Norman C. Sharp (Janice) of Eminence, Bernie Lucas of Rineyville, Marcella Janes of Greensburg, Jane Morgan of Elizabethtown and Marcella Morgan of Louisville; her daughter-in-law Marsha Sharp of Lebanon Junction; and her caregiver Ann Hudson. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
