It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene AdaMae Thompson of Clarkson, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Dale Thompson; her parents, Freeman Riggs and Gladys Fulkerson Riggs; and her sister Charlotte Pearson. She is survived by: her children, Sunshine Beverly Ann Thompson and Jimmy Jr. Thompson (Tisha); her grandchildren, Alicia Thompson, Alex Mabe (Sarah) and Austin Fields (Aracely); her great grandchildren, Madelyn Mabe and Elliana Sophia Fields; and her sister Betty Sue Riggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of the flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Irene Thompson Memorial Fund at the funeral home.
