It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton J. Brooks (Clarkson, Kentucky), who passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Frieda Brooks; his children, Ronnie Dale Brooks and Carolyn Louise Brooks; his stepson Paul Reynolds; and his siblings, Margie Hack, Marie Elliott, Ruby Lee Downs, Wilbur Brooks and Oval Ray Brooks.

He is survived by: his wife Madge Phelps Brooks of Clarkson; his son Gary Wayne Brooks (Sherry) of Auburn; and his grandchildren, Michael, Brett and Jessica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
