She was predeceased by: her mother Geneva Crain Sandlin; her husband Ova Lasley; her daughter Vanessa White; and her siblings, Herman of Earnest, J. B., Charles, James, Prentice, Nellene Warren and Eloise Jarboe.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lasley (Sandy), Carolyn Young (Tony) and Coretta Wilbert (Jeff); and her siblings, Wendell, Roger, Ovie, Kenneth, Cleddie Lindsey and Lillie Ausbon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
