She is survived by: her parents, John Thomas and Silvia Agnes Higdon Scott; her husband Jim Thompson; her children, Tina Bruner (Lamuel), Tammy VanMeter (Chip), Terry Thompson (Robin Dupin) and Tracy Thompson (Katina); and her siblings, Mary Rose Reams and William Scott. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
