He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Carney of Bardstown; his sister Emma Lou Gillis of Bloomfield; his granddaughter Mattie Ann Carney of Bardstown; and his stepchildren, Mary Lyda Hughes (Barry) of Bloomfield, Louell Carney Jr., Tim Carney and Danny Noel of Chaplin.
