It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Powell of Cerulean, Kentucky, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eugene and Martha Powell (Johnson); his siblings, Everette Eugene Powell, William Powell and Ramona Nelson; and his nephew David Pendley.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal McCluskey Powell of Trigg County; his son Austin; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Britt of Princeton, KY; his grandchildren, Nicholas Britt, James Robert Britt, Hunter Britt, Brantley Britt and Hazel Ann Britt; his stepgrandsons, Dawson Gass and Dwane Gass; and his sisters, Teresa Vickery (Jeff) of Princeton and Patricia Carty of Princeton.
