He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hale and Nora Poindexter Hale; and his sisters, Betty Jean Hensley and Margaret Croft. He is survived by: his wife Sara Hancock Hale of Cerulean; his children, Bruce Hale (Marcella) of Cerulean, David Ray Hale (Kathy) of Cerulean and Sherry Gamble (Mike) of Cerulean; his sister Janet Glass of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Seth Gamble (Brenna), Morgan Lacy (Austin), Sydney Smith (Duncan), Payton Ferrell (Luke) and Lucas Gamble.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Gideon Camp.
