He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec Boyd Sr. and Mattie Radford Wadlington; his sons, Gregory Boyd and Antoine Boyd; his siblings, Henry Wadlington, Ivan Wadlington, Clayton Wadlington, Charles Boyd, Alec Boyd Jr. and Helanda "Boyd" Radford; and his granddaughter Brandi Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, Gary "Bertel" Dixon, Curtis Boyd, Harris Boyd, Desi Boyd, Brian Boyd, Wanda Boyd, Stephanie Watson (Tim) and Virginia Boyd; and his siblings, Charles Irvin, Verna Watkins, James Wadlington, Richard Wadlington, Robert Wadlington, Neal Wadlington, Rheda Gibson, Linda Baker, Bertha Boyd, Robert Boyd, Frank Boyd, James Boyd, Pernell Boyd and Emma Rascoe. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
