He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula L. Heflin and Russell S. Heflin; and his wife Susan Aldridge Heflin. He is survived by: his daughter Eileen; his son-in-law Jonathan White; and his grandchildren, Chip Murphy (Christina) and Drew Murphy. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
