He is survived by: his wife Linda Stevens Flener; his children, Wendell Flener (Jackie) of Central City, Troy Flener (Tawnya) of Central City, Melinda Nightingale (Brian) of Bremen, Chris Flener of Greenville and Jonathan Flener (Emily) of Central City; his grandchildren, Rebekah Luckett (Kirk), Maggie Flener, Josh Flener (Kaylan), Nathan Flener (Kendra), Zack Flener, Rachel Marvin (Cameron), Jacob Nightingale, Jared Nightingale, Kaleigh James (Robbie), Landon Flener (Lexi), Jonah Flener and Hudson Flener; his great grandchildren, Abel Flener, Brielle James, Carter Marvin, Gracelynn James, Camden Marvin, Jordan James, Kennedy Marvin, Rylan Flener and Ellie Nightingale; and his siblings, Steve Flener (Kaye), Denzil Flener (Sandy), Doris Johnson, Linda Whitehouse, Barbara Penrod (Bill) and Sue Hardison (Harold). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
