He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Paxton and Elizabeth "Meck" Durall Paxton; and his stepfather Murphy Comeaux. He is survived by: his pet Bear; his wife Nancy Walker Paxton; his children, Rebecca Coombs (Shannon) of Central City and Jamie Paxton (Hailee) of Hanson; his grandchildren, Connor Coombs, Emma Coombs, Tinley Paxton, Dayton Jones, Addison Hayes and Tanner Hayes; his sister Jimmie Lou Allen; and his stepsisters, Laura Mothersbaugh and Suzanne Fulkerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
