It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Julia Beckmann of Central City, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Beckmann; her parents, Walter Sanders and Julia Sanders; her sons, Jeffery Beckmann and Thomas Beckmann; and her granddaughter Samantha Gorham.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Beckmann (Mozelle) of River Forest, IL, Christopher Beckmann (Erin) of Elgin, IL, Christine Bowers (Robert) of Naperville, IL, Susan Dukes (Randall) of Central City, Nancy Nasiff (Michael) of Middletown, RI, Sally Beckmann of Bartlett, IL and Janet Akins (Steve) of Princeton, IN; and her siblings, Bobby Sanders (Kathy) of Springfield, IL and Gloria Finnegan (Gerald) of Mesa, AZ.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
