Heather Crutcher wrote a sympathy message

“I'm so thankful that I got to experience life with you. You are my person, and I was yours. Our marriage wasn't always easy but at the end of the day it was our marriage, and no one else's. And even when times got hard, we always found our way back to each other, and we made it out together. No matter how hard the times got, or how hard other people tried to make it for us to be together. They did not succeed. You loved me first until the day God called you home, I love you times a million babe”
