He is survived by: his wife Karen Penrod Rathburn; his children, Mark Rathburn, Amy Bourdon and Lindsay Phelps (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Emma Lear, Chandler Phelps, Oliver Phelps and Cooper Phelps; and his sisters, Marilyn Griffin and Ruth Zuber (Gary).
