He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Mary Jones; and his sister Betty Stogner. He is survived by: his close friend Geneva Cornette; his sister Carolyn Dukes of Drakesboro; and his nephew James "J. J." Stogner (Tabby) of Central City. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
