She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Joey Simmons and Jeremy Simmons; her siblings, Christina Stanley, Tom Whanger and Albert Whanger; and her parents, Harry Whanger and Katie Whanger.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Simmons (Mary Ann) of Central City, Theresa DeArmond (Mike) of Beech Creek and Judy Oglesby (Tony) of Powderly; her grandchildren, Adam DeArmond, Josh Beatty, Hank Simmons, Dustin Beatty, Kaden Simmons and Bethany Devine; and her siblings, John Whanger, James Whanger, Jane Campfield, Rose Quisenberry, Barbara Stewart and Wyona Hines. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; ten nephews and nieces.
Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor's mandate.
