She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Chaney and Lorene Walker Chaney; and her siblings, Lewis Chaney, Sr., Jerry Dossett, Wanda Doss and Anna Merle Chaney.
She is survived by: her husband Carroll Whitmer of Central City; her daughter Lori Turley (Rick); her grandson Dr. Grant Turley (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Audrey of Evansville and Eleanor Turley of Evansville; and her sister-in-law Sue Hobgood (Eddie) of Little River. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
