It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus Aaron Short (Central City, Kentucky), who passed away on December 2, 2019, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virgil, Dorothy Pike, Milford Glen Short and Thelma Christine Davis Short; his aunt Joyce Gregory; and his uncles, Billy Pike and Bobby Pike.

He is survived by: his parents, Mark Short and Margaret Short of Central City; his sister Lindsay Durall (Jeremy) of Greenville; his nephew Hayden James Durall of Greenville; his aunts and uncles, Barbara Pike, Beverly Hall (Joe), Darlene Freeman (Billy), Debra Hayes (Billy), Rhonda Thompson, Michael Short (Amanda) and Milford Glen Short (Danni); and his cousins, Amy Gardner (Matt), Ryan Nelson, Jenny Hall, Sarah Rager, Marcus Gerard Short (Heidi), Stacey Neely (Gerry), Aimee Dobbins (Andrew), Karen Neal and Donna Gregory.
